Welcome to the Fairfax Composite Squadron Website

Welcome to the Fairfax Composite Squadron website!  The Squadron is located in Fairfax, VA and is part of the DC metropolitan area.  The squadron is a local unit of the Civil Air Patrol, United States Air Force Auxiliary, and is part of the National Capital Wing and Middle East Region. As a composite squadron we consist of a mix of both cadets, 12 – 20 years old, and senior members, 18 years and older.

The squadron meets on a weekly basis, every Monday from 1900 to 2100, at the Fairfax American Legion (Post #177) located at 3939 Oak Street, Fairfax, VA 22030.  Please see our calendar for specific meeting details including the uniform of the day.

The Fairfax Composite Squadron is a volunteer organization, specializing in aviation missions, including: Search & Rescue, Cadet Programs, and Aerospace Education.  If you are interested in becoming either a cadet or Civil Air Patrol Officer we welcome you to any of our weekly Monday evening meetings to learn more.  We conduct recruiting and you are welcome to join us year round!  In addition, please visit the Civil Air Patrol National Headquarters website http://www.gocivilairpatrol.com to learn more about the many missions of the Civil Air Patrol and feel free to browse the rest of our website to learn more about the activities and events of the squadron.
